As an exercise in data handling, I've created a new website showing tide times on a Google Map of the UK using tide prediction data from the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (POL) in Liverpool. The website has little commercial value but is something to do on slow days or evenings when there's nothing much on TV. It also allows me to experiment with databases and the presentation of data, as well as SEO and marketing

Lincolnshire Website Design's Web and Email server has been upgraded with extra memory to help ease the strain on the system caused by the Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam scanning. The server was temporarily unavailable for a few minutes in the early hours of Friday 13th while the upgrade was performed
